FENNEC FOX in COLORED PENCIL
My favorite subjects to draw and paint are animals, botanicals, and people. I enjoy rendering subjects with colored pencil in a more realistic style and choose my subjects accordingly.

Pastel pencils are another medium which requires hours of drawing time but the process is so satisfying and brings me heaps of joy when I finally get to the finish line and see the end result!

I also enjoy mixing my media together by using colored pencil in addition to other dry mediums such as pan pastel and pastel pencils. In this piece I used a substrate called “Pastelmat” which is a highly textured surface which allows for lots of layering (my favorite part of the process)!
