These are a few images of my coloring page artwork. I made a few single coloring pages for a Colored Pencil Workshop I taught which offered a multitude of possibilities for textures, layering and color matching.
In November 2016 I released my very first, self-published Coloring Book, "Botanimals-A Coloring Book of Flora and Fauna"! It is available for purchase on Amazon and boasts over 30 pages of coloring fun! The book was inspired by my love of plants and animals and has a thread of "wordplay" woven throughout.

I made this drawing and turned it into a coloring page for my Colored Pencil Workshop which I thought offered opportunities for learning about textures, layering and color matching.
This was another flower which I drew and made into a coloring page for my Colored pencil workshop.
It offered enough simplicity in structure although allowed for some lessons in overlapping structures and shadowing.
I drew this directly from the source for the Colored Pencil Workshop I taught. The spikes were drawn a bit more exaggerated so the students could actually fill in the colors.

I put these together for a recent art show I exhibited where I mixed up the parts of the tops and bottoms of my art pieces and left the mid section open for the visitors to fill in as they chose.
They were a hit!
I had been working on my very first Coloring Book for adults and kids since June 2016 and this a digital collage image of how parts of mybook will look. These are a few images I drew for the Owl pattern page. The final coloring page is pictured on the lower half of the photo.
This is a photo of the front and back cover of my very first Coloring Book, "Botanimals" where plants and animals illustrate whimsical relationships to one another. I have fun with a bit of wordplay throughout the book and I hope you will enjoy my hand-drawn illustrations designed for all ages to enjoy! I drew this for one of my after school Origami projects where we made a PUGoda for Chinese New Year, year of the Dog! :-)
I designed and illustrated a local restaurant's coloring and activity sheet full of animals and some traditional Brazilian foods. It was a lot of fun and a lot of work!
